1 kg of red apples (about 5 pieces)
0,5 cup sugar
1,25 cup milk
1 tablespoon powdered sugar
0,5 cups flour
0,5 cup + 1 tablespoon heavy cream
30 g butter
2 tablespoons Calvados (or any other fruit-flavoured alcohol)
Method of preparation:
1) Clean the washed apples, cut out the core and cut into thin sticks. Put the sliced apples in a greased form.
Mix flour, eggs, cream, sugar, butter, milk, and Calvados, whisk in a blender for about 20 seconds until smooth. Pour this mass of apples and bake in a preheated 200 degree oven until brown (about 40 minutes).
Ready sprinkle with powdered sugar. If desired, the top can be further sprinkle 1-2 teaspoons Calvados.
